It's been awhile! I want to say thank you to everyone for their hopes for my healing and as always the support and kindness I've recieved here.
My eye seems to be healed, finally. After many rounds of meds, a few needles in the tear duct and other fun things. I recently finished a round of heavy oral antibiotics and that seems to have taken care of the last traces of it! Yay!
Now to get back into the groove of my photography. It's funny how weird it feels, after over a month, to hold my camera again. I already have my first outting planned out. Last week while exploring part of a park with a friend we wandered up stream. And after balancing across a tree, swimming through a gully and climbing some moss covered rocks we descovered a beautiful hidden waterfall. The only trick will be getting my camera and two lenses there unscathed(and unwet). I have a watertight case(tested in the bathtub) and the offer from my friend to give me a hand. Hopefully this will go well! I am only taking my two cheaper lenses, my 18-50mm and a old 50mm macro. The space where the waterfall is is very small and I'll be limited as to how far away from it I can get.
And some features to inspire!

I want to live in a world where chickens don't have their motives questioned just for crossing the road.
It means a lot.

A man walked into a bar exam. He didn't study. Ouch.
